Sophie Walls - Belong Wigan - Belong at Home Area Manager

Sophie has worked for the organisation for over 11 years, starting her career as a support worker in the village households. Two years later, Sophie was appointed to the role of Senior Support Worker and quickly progressed to the role of Lead Senior Support Worker, before joining Belong's home care team.

She completed a level 5 in leadership Management and has excelled since taking up the leadership role at Belong at Home Wigan service. The team has won multiple accolades, both in Belong’s internal Champion Awards and nationally at the Great British Care Awards and Stars in Social Care Awards. Sophie’s passion is ensuring the highest levels of attentive, person-centred support for the service’s customers and ensuring their quality of life is the best it possibly can be.
